Condition guide
We believe most things deserve a second or even third chance before being repurposed or sent to landfills, therefore we price our items accordingly, and reasonably (sometimes free!) mainly based on its condition. Each item has been individually checked and lovingly handpicked by us. We would not hesitate in dressing Ellie and our nieces in any of the clothes we sell.
This is how we group the items according to condition:

BNWT: Brand New With Tag
- Excellent: Worn/Washed but looks like new
- Good: Somewhere in between Excellent and Gently Worn

Gently Worn: There are signs that the clothes have been worn for for a good number of times
- Play: The clothes may look old or there is stain(s) but doesn't affect its functionality and comfort aren't affected. Especially good for messy situations! :)
- Rescue: Functionality and comfort are affected, we're giving away these clothes for free please rescue them!
Sizes of Clothes
Due to the nature of the business, we generally, only have one size of each item available. Nonetheless, we aim to stock a variety of items in each size bracket. For detailed measurements, please refer to the websites of the respective brands.
Do you wash your clothes before selling to us?
We request all the sellers to clean the clothes before sending over to us. We understand the importance of hygiene and will give an extra wash with baby friendly plant based detergent before sending over to you, except for the clothes that are brand new with tags or non-washing machine friendly.
Are the items selling on the website coming from non-smoking/pet-free households?
For the existing items that you're seeing on the website (as at 28th March 2021), we cannot guarantee all of them are coming from smoke-free households as the items that we've purchased are initially meant for personal use (for Ellie, her two cousins, and also children of our friends, charity organizations, AND, the urge of maximizing the delivery effort etc.). Nevertheless, we have asked most of the sellers directly and many of them have stated clearly that the items are from a smoke-free household.
From April 2021 onwards, we will strictly require all sellers to make a short declaration that the items are coming from a non-smoking household. We want to build a community of like-minded people based on trust and we hope to remove this requirement in the future. In the event that we find out that the items sold to us come from a smoking household, we will inform you and provide a full refund.
We LOVE animals, so, sellers with pets at home can sell their preloved to us, no problem at all!
EGM's Monthly Newsletter
You can subscribe to our monthly newsletter. We will generally keep it down to once a month and some seasonal specials. We use our business email to send out our newsletter. You might need to add it from the spam folder. Simply reply to the email any time if you choose to opt out.

Pricing
Our prices are in Singapore Dollars (S$) and are non negotiable.
Methods of Payment
We currently accept the major credit cards through Shopify Payments (powered by STRIPE) or you can use Paypal Direct and complete the transaction through Paypal. Both options are very secure. We don't store any billing details on our site, they stay with Shopify (STRIPE) or Paypal.
Safety and Security
At Ellie's Green Mart we are using Shopify Payments (powered by STRIPE) and Paypal who are both accredited secure methods of transmitting and processing payments. On top of that, we are also SSL secured. You can see the https// in front of our domain name and most browsers will display a padlock icon beside it.
Delivery & Packaging
Delivery cost overview
As we're currently running on an extremely lean team, orders will be dispatched within about 7 business days of receiving the payment.
Singapore: Flat fee of S$5 per order. Free shipping on orders over S$80
Park N Parcel, locker to locker for all orders - Please email your Pick Up Point, Name, Contact Number to contact@elliesgreenmart.com within 24 hours upon placing the order -- Otherwise the items will be delivered via the default mode.
There is size and weight restriction for this service, we will contact you for alternative arrangement should the size/weight exceeds.
International shipping: Shipping to countries other than Singapore - contact us for rate.
Employees of National Cancer Centre Singapore and Singapore General Hospital: We provide free delivery to both sites on a bi-weekly basis. Please choose "For NCCS/SGH Staff" upon checkout.

Packaging
We refuse buying new packaging hence we will reuse whatever packaging that is available, some may look really UGLY. If you're purchasing for friends as gifts, do drop us a note at gifting@elliesgreenmart.com, we will do our best to wrap the items with nicer (used) packaging, and insert a little surprise ;)
Return your order
We aim for full satisfaction but if there is a need to return an item, drop us an email at contact@elliesgreenmart within 48 hours upon receiving your order, and include the following details:
- which item you would like to return
- the reason you wish to return
- the date you purchased it
If the item is returned to us in the same condition within 7 working days we will give a full refund (excluding shipping costs). Return postage and packaging will be at your own cost. Please include your name, contact number and email address in the return parcel.
